Production Lead (Interim)

Macade is one of the world’s fastest-growing brands in golf apparel – worn on the PGA, LPGA, and European Tour. Founded in 2019, we have grown from a small, tightly edited collection to dressing over 100,000 golfers worldwide.

We are now looking for an Interim Production Lead for a fixed-term assignment, covering a parental leave. The assignment is expected to start in summer 2026 and run through spring 2027.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role at the core of the product organization, with full ownership of the operational product process during this period.

The Role

You will own the structure, timelines and operational flow across the full product lifecycle – from initial design input through sampling and into production. Working closely with Brand Director (Design and Product Development), your role is to ensure that the process runs efficiently, that nothing falls between the cracks, and that all stakeholders are always aligned. Design owns the product and you own that it gets done – in time, and correctly.

The role is primarily based on-site at Macade’s office in central Stockholm. 

Key Responsibilities

• Set, manage and follow up on all key milestones from design start to bulk production
• Coordinate the full product development and production process with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Drive the sampling process operationally (proto, SMS, PP), track progress, and ensure fast and structured feedback loops
• Ensure that tech packs, size specs, BOMs and updates are complete, correct and consistently communicated
• Main interface towards suppliers and factories i.e. follow up on timelines, sample status, production readiness and resolve day-to-day issues
• Ensure process discipline and version control (final product specifications are aligned before production)
• Proactively manage delays, or production risks before they impact timelines
• Implement clear tracking, status reporting and meeting structures across the organization

Profile

• We are looking for a highly structured and execution-driven profile with hands-on experience from apparel production and product development environments.
• 4–8+ years of experience within production, product development or similar roles
• Strong understanding of garment development, sizing, sampling and factory processes
• Proven ability to manage timelines and multiple parallel workflows in a successful manner
• Experience working directly with international suppliers and factories
• Strong communication skills – able to align both creative and technical stakeholders
• Proficient in Excel and PLM systems
• Huge plus if you are passionate about golf
