CFO

This CFO role is created to take full ownership of the group’s financial steering and to act as a long-term partner to the founders and management team as Dogma continues to scale, organically as well as through potential acquisitions

Dogma is a global agency group uniting creative specialists across strategy, creative direction, and production. Founded in Stockholm. With offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Amsterdam and New York, Dogma partners with some of the world’s leading lifestyle brands, often in long-term, high-impact Agency of Record relationships. Now at a stage where the creative ambition, international footprint and group structure requires a dedicated finance leader at the center of the organization.

About the role

You will be the one rolling up your sleeves, building the models, owning the numbers and driving the work forward, while also acting as a strategic partner to the founders.  Accounting remains outsourced but you will fully own financial steering, and accounting quality. The role is based in Stockholm and reports directly to CEO/founder.

Key responsibilities:

• Full ownership of group financial steering across multiple legal entities and business lines, including budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and scenario analysis
• Drive group-level financial structure including intercompany flows, currency effects and transfer pricing, ensuring scalable and value-creating setups across Europe and the US
• Work with cash flow and liquidity planning at group level, including dialogue with banks and support to founders on capital structure, financing and funding of growth
• Overall ownership of accounting and financial reporting across the group, ensuring quality, consistency and transparency in collaboration with external accounting partner and auditors
• Lead on acquisitions and structural transactions, driving analysis, structuring, integration planning and post-acquisition follow-up while preserving entrepreneurial culture
• Develop a scalable internal finance function over time, continuously improving processes and tools without over-bureaucratizing the organization

Who we are looking for

We believe that you are verbal, pedagogical and able to translate numbers into clear strategic insights. You have to be comfortable being the only finance person in the room, and you see that as an opportunity (not a limitation). Previous CFO experience is valued but not required.

Key criteria:

• 5–10 years of relevant experience with clear progression and senior responsibility
• Background from one or more of the following is highly relevant: Management consulting (strategy, transaction, value creation), finance leadership in a growth-oriented group or Transaction Services, M&A or FP&A with business exposure.
• Hands-on experience working with financial group structuring, financing decisions and/or transactions (e.g. acquisitions, integrations, refinancing, shareholder structuring)
• Strong understanding of finance across the full value chain, including financial planning, cash flow and liquidity management, P&L and balance sheet dynamics and capital allocation
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting (e.g. K3, group reporting, consolidation), i.e. fully competent to ensure compliance and correctness.
• Experience working with multi-entity and preferably international structures, including intercompany flows, currency effects and basic transfer pricing logic
