Nordic Capital is seeking a Financial Assistant to join its Finance team, based at the headquarters in central Stockholm.

About the Role

As a Financial Assistant at Nordic Capital, you will play a key role in the accounting and administration of the group’s entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective financial support. Your responsibilities will focus on monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations, as well as expense management across multiple jurisdictions. This is a great opportunity to develop within accounting, take ownership of key financial processes, and contribute to a high-performing, best-in-class finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations for group entities.
  • Oversee and manage expense management systems (e.g., Pleo & Certify) across all jurisdictions.
  • Assist with intercompany transactions, accruals, and cost allocations.
  • Issue and manage quarterly invoices for group companies.
  • Active and close team-collaboration in closing activities and financial reporting.
  • Proactively contribute to a culture of continuous development and operational excellence

Who You Are

We are looking for a structured, detail-oriented, and service-minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced and international environment. You should have a strong passion for accounting, business administration and enjoy working in a truly collaborative environment.

Your Background:

  • +3 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably within a group structure or international organization.
  • Diploma or academic degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience handling balance reconciliations, VAT reporting, and expense management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills being essential.
  • A service-oriented approach, with the ability to provide support while maintaining high integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate a highly professional and demanding environment.
  • Full fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
