We are now strengthening the finance teamwith a Senior Accountant. Verdane’s Finance organisation is a key enabler of the firm’s continued growth, ensuring the highest standards of financial reporting and structure. About the role

As Senior Accountant, you will join a highly competent team based in Stockholm, responsible for the financial management and statutory reporting of a large portfolio of holding, investment and project entities within the Verdane group. The position offers a broad scope with ownership of accounting and reporting processes, close collaboration with Controlling, and active participation in continuous process and system development. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of accounting and investment operations in an international setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Hands-on manage accounting, financial reporting and statutory filings for several legal entities within the Verdane group.
• Ensure accurate period-end closing, reconciliations and annual reporting in accordance with Swedish GAAP.
• Coordinate audit, tax and VAT processes in cooperation with external stakeholders.
• Maintain robust internal controls and compliance standards, ensuring high-quality financial data.
• Drive process optimization and system improvements, including ongoing automation and digitalization initiatives within the finance function.
• Support cross-border consolidation and reporting in close collaboration with Controlling.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience from accounting preferably within a group or international setting.
• Solid knowledge of Swedish GAAP (K3) and experience in preparing annual reports.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and internal controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and general system literacy.
• Excellent command of English and Swedish.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with a strong business sense.
• Proactive, curious and comfortable challenging existing processes.
• Team-oriented and pragmatic – thriving in a collaborativeculture.
