Head of Supply Chain

CHIMI is seeking their next Head of Supply Chain to join their journey towards becoming a leading global eyewear brand. In this role, success hinges on a strong balance between logistics expertise and a keen interest in business development. You will manage and develop our global shipping structure, warehousing, and logistics solutions to drive our ambitious growth targets. In this crucial role, you will be the architect and pilot behind CHIMI’s supply chain, fueling our ambitious growth plans.

You will work closely with the Assortment & Purchasing Director while reporting to the CEO. This position is based in the heart of Stockholm at CHIMI's headquarters. We are committed to fostering a collaborative and unified work environment; therefore, this position primarily requires working from the office.

Responsibilities:

• Drive continuous improvements in supply chain cost-efficiency and productivity, thereby enhancing operational performance.
• Develop and implement a supply chain strategy that innovates global freight, warehouse, and logistics solutions, aligned with CHIMI's growth objectives.
• Proactively manage supply chain risks and optimize inventory using data analytics to ensure cost-effectiveness and meet consumer needs.
• Manage the tech platform for warehousing, shipping, and logistics to promote supply chain efficiency and excellence.
• Lead team development, nurture a high-performance culture, and strengthen supplier relationships to secure favorable terms and enhance service quality.
• Drive business growth by forging strategic partnerships, contributing to revenue enhancement and market reach.
• Provide strategic insights to the leadership team, focusing on supply chain optimization and stakeholder engagement for CHIMI’s broader vision.

Desired background:

• 5-10 years of experience leading and managing complex supply chain operations.
• Expertise in supply chain dynamics, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
• Skilled in crafting long-term and cost-effective supply chain strategies that support business objectives.
• People leader, adept at organizing team workflows and driving successful outcomes.
• Experience in a direct-to-consumer company, preferably within e-commerce.
• Leverage data analytics for problem-solving, process enhancement, and informed decision-making.
• Cultivates robust partnerships and encourages team collaboration across the supply chain spectrum.
• Possesses strong business acumen and a passion for identifying and developing strategic business partnerships that align with CHIMI’s growth strategy.
